Check out this lovely Dragonfly Daze Selection from Northcott. The top 3 fabrics go beautifully with the panel. Think of using the panel as a full strip and border it with a combination of the other fabrics or cut into it and make a background feature using the light through to dark of the panel with the co-ordinating fabrics
The panel runs light to dark across the selvedge so you just need to buy the width you require for your chosen pattern. There are some lovely ideas on Northcott Fabrics website. This fabric range is NZ$26.70 per metre
For the children there is a lovely new panel and border print called Space - featuring the solar system, showing the planets nad star systems, naming them all. The border print has rows of planets and then rows of astronauts and space stations & moon walking equipment. NZ$25.60 per metre for the border and NZ$25.60 per panel. Make a bed quilt of hang it on the wall for the children to learn all about the solar system in a fun way.
What a fun way to learn about the planets and stars :)
A Red Rose - this lovely new fabric range is very striking with red and grey roses. Check out these fabrics....
I have seen this made into a basket pattern block. The grey stem roses are the top of the basket with the grey & white small allover rose as the bottom of the basket and the other two fabrics along with others are used in sashing with white around the baskets. It is very striking. NZ$26.70 per metre
For cat lovers we have Tuxedo Cats - this delightful black and white cat fabric is cute and has a black tone on tone allover pattern to go with it.
Don't you just want to stroke them :)
The last fabric in is Zazzle by Mark Lipinski. I see this as modern Japanese. It features a vase and what could be either flowers or parasols, as your fancy takes you. I really like this unusual fabric. NZ$26.60 per metre
